We stand behind the quality of our custom window treatments and installation services. This page explains what is covered, what isn’t, and how to get help if something goes wrong.

What’s Covered
Limited Product Warranty
- Coverage: Defects in materials and workmanship for motors, controls, and internal mechanisms.
- Duration: 1 year from delivery to the original purchaser.
- Remedy: At our option, we will repair, provide replacement parts, or replace the product.
Installation Workmanship Warranty
- Coverage: Defects arising from our installation workmanship.
- Duration: 90 days from the installation date.
- Remedy: We correct the installation at no charge.
What’s Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear (fabric fading, minor cosmetic marks, batteries).
- Damage from misuse, abuse, accidents, alterations, improper cleaning, or environmental factors (water, fire, pets).
- Issues caused by incorrect measurements provided by the customer or by third-party installers.
- Connectivity or compatibility issues with third-party smart home devices, networks, or apps.
- Any product serviced or modified by someone other than Miami Smart Blinds or our authorized partners.
Custom Products & Returns
Most of our blinds and shades are custom-made to your specifications.
- Custom orders are not refundable or exchangeable once in production, except for defects or our error.
- Non-custom accessories (if offered) may be returned within 30 days in new, unused condition with original packaging. Obtain an RMA before returning.

Lead Times & Delays
Estimated production and shipping timelines are provided at checkout and in your order emails. On rare occasions, delays can occur due to material availability, carrier issues, holidays, or other factors outside our control. If we learn of a material delay, we’ll notify you promptly and provide updated timing.
Order Acceptance
We may decline or cancel orders (for example, due to suspected fraud, clear pricing or specification errors, or unavailable materials). If an order is canceled after payment, we’ll issue a prompt refund.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Contact us: Email [email protected] with your order number, photos/video, and a description of the issue.
- Evaluation: We may troubleshoot remotely, request additional details, or schedule a visit if installation is involved.
- Resolution: If covered, we’ll arrange repair, replacement parts, or product replacement. For shipments, we provide return labels where applicable.
Tip: Keep your proof of purchase and any installation notes—these help us resolve issues faster.
Ownership, Transfer & Limits
- The warranty applies to the original purchaser and the original installation address and is not transferable.
- Our obligations are limited to the remedies above. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights that vary by state.
Measurement Responsibility
- If we measured your windows, we stand behind the fit.
- If you provided measurements, you are responsible for their accuracy. We can advise on measurement best practices; ask us before ordering.
Care & Use
Follow the product care and operating instructions. Periodically check brackets and fasteners, keep moving parts free of obstructions, and avoid harsh cleaners. Proper care helps maintain performance and appearance.
